Please join us on Tuesday, September 24 in Manchester for a deep dive into the evolving landscape of UK chemicals regulation and policy. We'll cover topics such as UK REACH (ATRm and initial improvements), CLP and biocides. The work of key public sector actors will be discussed (including DEFRA, HSE, the Environment Agency, OPSS and OEP). This event is a joint initiative by the Chemicals Industries Association (CIA), Steptoe and Ramboll. It is aimed at those wishing to stay abreast of new developments and building pan-European compliance and market access strategies. We look forward to welcoming you.

***This half day seminar will take place during the morning of Thursday 31st October 2024*** Back in 2021, Defra made a commitment to explore alternative arrangements for UK REACH transitional registrations to minimise costs for businesses following the end of the Brexit transition period. Since then, the registration deadlines have been extended to give time for the model to be developed. 2024 is an important year, as the UK authority consults on the new model, with changes to legislation expected to follow.
***This workshop will be delivered online and split over 2 half day morning sessions on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th November 2024*** The REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals) Regulation affects almost every chemical substance that you manufacture, import or use to make your products and to run your processes. REACHReady's most popular workshop, this introductory workshop is an excellent place to start for those who are beginning to define their REACH obligations, aimed at business and regulatory managers and practitioners working in companies that make, import or use chemicals and for those who are new to the regulation. Ideal for anyone who needs to understand more about their obligations under the EU27 and UK REACH Regulations, and also of interest to suppliers of substances and mixtures who are looking to support their EU and UK customers on REACH.
