Royce’s mission is to support and grow world-recognised
excellence in UK materials research, accelerating commercial exploitation and
delivering positive economic and societal impact for the UK. The Royce Hub
Building brings together office, research and collaboration spaces,
with capability across the Royce Research Areas. This includes High Pressure Temperature Labs, Additive Manufacturing,
Two Dimensional Materials, Biomedical Materials, Chemical Materials Design
which includes the Sustainable
Materials Innovation Hub.
Our first presenters will be from Royce, giving an overview of
the facilities available and research in progress.
Our second presenter
will be David
Jasiewicz from Appleyard Lees who will deliver a short
overview of the green report fourth edition at the breakfast event.
Inside Green Innovation – Progress Report 2024.
What can patent data reveal about global progress in green innovation, and what
might be achieved in years to come?
Appleyard Lees annual ‘Inside Green Innovation – Progress Report’ analyses
patent filings across several areas of innovation, and their data-driven report
gets behind the rhetoric, to shed light on the state of progress in the
development of green technologies.
You’ll hear from Patent Attorney & Associate, David Jasiewicz, of Appleyard
Lees, who operates in a wide range of fields including large and small chemical
manufacturers, universities, and start-ups. He has a particular interest in the
field of novel materials, coatings, and pharmaceuticals.
Area Sales Manager Jason Lenihan from Corrosion Resistant Products (CRP) will be our third presenter. Jason will give an introduction to
Corrosion Resistant Products, detailing who they are and what they offer.
Further presenters to be confirmed.
